Alexandros Stergiou

Alexandros is the Group IT Director of Fourlis Group, one of Southeast Europe's leading multi-brand retail organizations, operating IKEA, Intersport, and Foot Locker across Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Romania. In this role he leads the Group's IT strategy and digital transformation, with a strong focus on leveraging data, AI, and emerging technologies to enhance customer experience and operational excellence.

With more than two decades of experience across retail, energy, and telecommunications, Alexandros has built a consistent track record of driving large-scale technology transformation. Prior to Fourlis, he served as IT Director at Fysiko Aerio – Greek Energy Company, where he pioneered AI-based customer services and cloud-led digital initiatives, and earlier held senior IT leadership roles at Cyta Hellas, helping orchestrate the company's entry into the mobile telecommunications market

He holds an MSc in Business Administration, Innovation & Technology from Athens Information Technology and a BSc in Applied Mathematics for Informatics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
