Sofia Kyriakopoulou

Sofia Kyriakopoulou joined Scor as the Group Chief Data & Analytics Officer in September 2024 and was promoted as Chief Technology Data and AI Office in March 2026. She drives the IT, data & analytics and A.I. strategy and its execution as well as the shaping of a robust data foundation for the Group, aiming to transform SCOR into the data-driven reinsurer of the future.

Before joining SCOR, Sofia was the Head of Data & Analytics Reinsurance for Swiss Re, since 2023. She led the unit delivering differentiating data products, analytics and data science for Reinsurance, while consolidating the data foundation into a well-governed single version of truth.

She joined Swiss Re as a Director in Asset Management in 2018 to head Smart Analytics and further scaled AM's data engineering & data science, aiming to establish data-driven decision making for investment professionals and deliver added-value analytical products.

Prior to Swiss Re, Sofia defined the Data Strategy and led the Analytics initiatives portfolio for Vontobel Asset Management, having previously worked in capital markets, as a Structurer in UBS. She started her career at Credit Suisse, and before embarking in financial services, she co-founded a startup in Silicon Valley, that later got incubated in Facebook. She holds an MBA (University of St. Gallen / Imperial College London) and has an engineering background (MSc Computer Science EPFL, MEng & BEng Electrical and Computer Engineering NTUA).
