Spiros Tassis

Spiros is a well-established lawyer with over 25 years of experience, and one of the pioneers in TMT, data protection, and privacy law in Greece. His expertise spans complex projects related to data, digital technologies, and transformational tech initiatives, including artificial intelligence and data post-processing.

He holds an LL.B. from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an LL.M. (TMT & Privacy) from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. He is admitted to the Supreme Court.

He is a Scientific Partner of the Department of Applied Informatics at the University of Macedonia, Chairman of the Hellenic Data Protection and Privacy Association, a founding member of the Greek IAPP KnowledgeNet chapter, and a member of the Board of the European Federation of Data Protection Officers (EFDPO).
